Spread over 2 days (12 hours), blended learning, 6 hours contact time, 6 hours individual pre-course learning. This two-day course will help you meet your regulatory requirements for child and early years settings. We tailor this course to your specific needs for your business, or family.

Price Includes

12 hours, pre-course e-learning module, learner groups no bigger than 12 per course, book, and learner materials.

  • Asthma

  • Bites and stings

  • Bone, joint and muscle injuries

  • Burns and scalds

  • Child and baby resuscitation (CPR)

  • Childhood conditions

  • Choking baby

  • Choking child

  • Communication and casualty care

  • Eye injuries

  • Foreign objects

  • Head injuries

  • Heat and cold extremes

  • Low blood sugar

  • Managing an emergency

  • Meningitis

  • Minor and severe bleeding

  • Poisons and what to do if someone has been poisoned

  • Role of the first aider (including knowledge of health and safety regulations)

  • Seizures

  • Shock

  • Spinal injuries

  • Unresponsive baby

  • Unresponsive child

Certificate

On successful completion of the Paediatric First Aid course, delegates will be awarded with a certificate.

The certificate is valid for 3 years.
